Our Fees
Website Listing Fees
In order to build up our vehicle listing on our website, we are currently offering FREE Action Vehicle listings. This includes FREE image setup from images supplied.
Client/Customer Booking Fees
When booking a vehicle through TV and Movie Action Vehicles, there is a ‘booking fee’ of 10% of the total booking value charged to our client. This fee is subject to VAT.
Agency/Trade Fee
For registered regular and bulk users such as TV & Movie Production Companies, Event and Wedding Organisers our 10% Customer Fee may be waived or reduced.
Owner Arrangement Fee
When a vehicle is booked through TV and Movie Action Vehicles, a commission charge is deducted from arranged fees of between 15% and 25% depending on the length and type of booking.
Commission Chargeable on Arrangement Fees:
- Booking Admin Fee: 25% Commission
- Hourly Rate: 25% Commission
- ½ Day Rate: 25% Commission
- Full Day Rate: 22.5% Commission
- Full Week Rate: 20% Commission
- Monthly Rate: 15% Commission
Payments & Deposits
Bookings of less than 1 month ahead:
- Full payment required at time of booking.
Bookings of less than 1 full day:
- Full payment required at time of booking.
Bookings of more than 1 full day:
- 50% deposit required at time of booking.
- Balance payable 14 days prior to event.
UK VAT: We are a VAT registered company.
VAT at standard rate will be applied to full vehicle fee, booking fee and arrangement fee.
TV & Movie Action Vehicles act as a booking intermediary between vehicle owners, private individuals and trade users/agencies. Whilst we endeavour to secure full payment from private users before booking date, trade and agency users may not pay until after event booking date(s). If for any reason payment is delayed or not paid by a hirer, we cannot be held responsible for any amounts due or agreed. We would like to assure you that we do not charge our commission before payment has been received from user/hirer.

Cancellation
Cancellation by Private Individual/Hirer:
For bookings made by private individuals for periods of less than 3 days, cancellation may be made up to 30 days prior to event. A £15 admin charge will apply to refunds made.
Cancellations between:
15 to 30 days will be subject to a 25% administration charge.
8 to 14 days will be subject to a 50% administration charge.
Bookings cancelled within 7 days will be subject to full charge.
Cancellation by Trade or Corporate Hirer:
Larger bookings for multiple days or vehicles require much more organisation and are subject to different cancellation charges.
Cancellations between:
15 to 30 days will be subject to a 50% charge.
Bookings cancelled within 14 days will be subject to full charge.
Cancellation by Owner:
Cancellations by vehicle owners are outwith the control of the company. In the event of such cancellation, a full refund will be given or we will attempt to source a similar vehicle for you. Although every care is taken to ensure a reliable service, no responsibility can be accepted by the company for failure of owner to provide service.

Please note that our normal area of service is within a 50 mile radius of Glasgow.
Beyond this, other locations can be covered but may involve additional transportation and accommodation costs.
Disclaimer
(Summary)
Whilst all our vehicles are maintained to a very high standard, most of our vehicles are classics and, whilst we have never had a breakdown on a production or event, this is a possibility. If this does happen and we are unable to provide the requested or alternative vehicle, a refund of booking fees paid will be given.
We cannot be held responsible for any additional costs as a direct or indirect result of any breakdown, failure to deliver or other issue arising and we accept no liability for any costs beyond that invoiced.
Overdue accounts will be subject to an administration charge of 5% of amount outstanding per month or £15 per month, whichever the greater. Reminder letters will be charged at £15. At our discretion, any discounted prices may revert to normal retail price in the event of late payment.
Any and all amounts owed to The Company are deemed to be accepted as personally guaranteed by any or all directors, partners or other agents of liable company.
Accounts remaining unpaid will be passed to an agency for collection. All additional charges incurred will be added to your account for collection. The Company reserve the right to refer late or problem payers to credit reference agencies.
Whilst every effort is made to ensure complete satisfaction, we cannot be held responsible for:
a) Late delivery of vehicle due to factors out with our control. b) Failure of vehicle owners to provide the service level expected or advertised. c) Actions of parties out with our control. d) Failure of agents or suppliers to deliver, maintain or supply contracted services.
In the case of vehicle not arriving on the day or not being up to the advertised standard a full refund may be given.
Any complaints or queries must be notified in writing within seven days of supplied services.
The Company trading as TV & Movie Action Vehicles and The Glasgow Bus act as a booking agency for owners vehicles and cannot be held responsible for unpaid booking fees or other expenses payable by trade and agency users. The Company cannot be held liable for any damages to vehicles supplied as this liability is accepted by the end hirer or agency.
