Rover 216 GSI (1992)
This was owned by one family from new, Originally sold in France, it was imported to the UK in 1995. The new owner drove the car for about 26 years only using it minimally and putting on very little mileage in that time.
Since introduction of ULEZ in London he sold it earlier this year.
The interior is immaculate bar a slightly saggy headlining. The car has been well maintained, and everything works as it should. It only has 64,000 miles.
These cars were seen as executive company cars back in the day, especially this one the ‘GSI’. It has a wonderful interior with real walnut burr wood, velour seats, sunroof electric windows etc. (if you’ve ever seen from A to B tales of modern motoring you’ll know how big company cars were for sales reps in the 90s.)
As a hatchback it is practical as the seats can be fully folded down too.
The only downsides of it are that currently the bodywork is knocked here and there – down to having an owner in his mid-eighties and does have a couple of rust scabs beginning to form on the rear arches. The paint is flat on the roof and tailgate. The owner is working towards rectifying these issues and the car is in progress to be restored by the end of the year.
These older Rovers were once the mainstays in the UK with over 900.000 sold. Today its estimated that less than 200 of this model remain on the roads.

50% deposit required at time of booking.
Balance payable 14 days prior to event.
Client/Customer Booking Fees
When booking a vehicle through TV and Movie Action Vehicles a ‘booking fee’ of 10% of the total booking value charged to hirer. This fee may be reduced or waived for extended or multiple bookings. This fee is subject to VAT.
