Citroën Visa 10E Leader (1986)
This Citroen Visa 10E Leader was built in France in 1986, It is a late Visa – they were built for less than two years after this one.
The Visa was a small family/city car and competed with the likes of the Ford Fiesta, Vauxhall Nova, VW Polo and Austin Metro, though was slightly bigger, more convenient (being 5 doors), and more stylish that the competition.
This was a fairly everyday car at the time, owned by normal families, though is vanishingly rare now – there are only around 120 examples left in the UK of any condition, and only two or three other “Leaders” left.
The 10E Leader is a “special edition” and was the basic car, but with very 1980’s added styling extras from the factory – side decals with “Leader” in a very 80’s font; full-cover plastic wheel trims; soft, grey and red checked seats; GTi style twin rear spoilers. It still has very 80’s black plastic bumpers and side cladding though.
The Visa has very French, Citroen styling with the rear wheel arches semi-covering the wheels and the single-spoke steering wheel.
The car still has its original 80’s analogue radio-cassette player, in fact the car has no changes from new and looks just as it did in 1986.
This Visa is in good, running condition, it’s not fast, but capable of driving on any route asked of it. The car is in remarkable internal and external condition for a very ordinary hatchback that’s almost extinct.
There is a little rust on the wings and bonnet, not noticeable from a distance. It is well loved and cared for – like many cars of its age, it continues to be improved, though not altered. It would fit-in with any scene set in the late 80’s or 90’s.
The car has never been used in any media or productions that I am aware of, but is well known in the Citroen Car Club as one of the best examples of a Visa left in the UK.

Client/Customer Booking Fees
When booking a vehicle through TV and Movie Action Vehicles a ‘booking fee’ of 10% of the total booking value charged to hirer. This fee may be reduced or waived for extended or multiple bookings. This fee is subject to VAT.
